Yr11 Parents Evening (virtual) 29/11/2022

Dear Parents and Carers of Year 11,

This academic year we will be running two Year 11 parents evenings with your child's teachers. This first one, on Tuesday 29th November, will be virtual using an online video system called SchoolCloud.

This system allows you to book a 5 minute time slot with each teacher that you would like to talk to. The time slots start from 3.45pm, with the latest available slot being at 6.44pm. If your child has the same teacher for more than one subject you do not need to make separate bookings, one 5 minute appointment will be sufficient. This also allows the teacher to see as many parents as possible.

Mrs Barwick will be available for SENDCO appointments and these will need to be requested by email to Mrs Barwick or Miss Eyre. You will not be able to book appointments for SEN discussions via the system.

Full instructions for connecting to this system are given in the attached information sheet. You can connect with a Smart Phone, Tablet, Laptop or PC and will have the option to use voice and video or just voice.

Please be aware that the system manages the live time slots and will automatically end the call at the end of 5 minutes. If you run out of time and have additional questions you wish to ask then you can email the subject teacher or form tutor after the appointment.

Following the consultation evening we'd like to ask your feedback and will send a short questionnaire asking for your views.

Please save the date for the second Year 11 parents evening, which we plan to run as a face to face event on Tuesday 21st March.
